IMMOBLADE launches SoliBlade max®: a solar control glazing with unmatched performance
June 2025
By combining its SoliBlade technology with the best solar control coated glass, IMMOBLADE introduces to its catalogue a product offering an extremely low solar factor in summer while maintaining excellent daylight transmission.
IMMOBLADE expands its range of passive and seasonal solar control glazing.
After SoliArt and SoliBlade, the Toulouse-based company now offers a third product: SoliBlade Max, designed for the extreme summers that are unfortunately expected to become more frequent by 2050.
SoliBlade Max offers:
-
A solar factor as low as 13% in midsummer
-
Light transmission up to 55% under overcast skies
-
A selectivity ratio (Light Transmission / Solar Factor) close to 4 : a first for a 100% passive solution
How does it work?
The innovation lies in combining IMMOBLADE’s patented directional filtering technology with the most advanced spectral filtering glass available today: the so-called triple-silver solar control coatings.
The SoliBlade technology optimises the geometry of miniature sunshading blades integrated within the double glazing by adjusting their tilt and opening angle according to a detailed study of the sun’s path from the façade’s viewpoint. It is a fully passive technology, customised for each façade.
The coated glass technology filters ultraviolet and infrared radiation while allowing maximum visible light to pass through, thanks to microscopic metallic layers deposited on the glass surface.
SoliBlade Max, now available across France
A direct evolution of SoliBlade and manufactured using identical processes, SoliBlade Max is:
✔️ Compatible with all orientations
✔️ Effective throughout France
✔️ Available now in all glass configurations (laminated, double-laminated, anti-burglary, etc.)
